If you haven't had the opportunity to try a Freed's Biscuit, you don't know what you've been missing. Owner Josh Freed has been making some of the best biscuits I've had. They are all scratch made and come in a variety of flavors, from Jalapeno Cheddar to Cinnamon Glazed.
Myself and others have used Freed's Biscuits to make some amazing sandwiches. The flaky yet denseness of the biscuit makes it a perfect vessel for the messiest of sandwiches. You can find Josh serving his own awesome creations on Saturday's at the Warrenton Farmer's Market and Sunday's at Wild Hare Cider also in Warrenton. He is hoping to find a full time home to show the endless options you can do with biscuits and continue to work with local farms and vendors for fresh ingredients for his creations.
